Originally released for consoles and PC as a bonus mode in "Call of Duty: Black Ops," due to its popularity Activision released "Call of Duty: Zombies" as a standalone iPhone game. Much like the original game, "COD: Zombies" relies heavily on multiplayer, increasing the odds of surviving longer when there are more players in the game. The game allows you to connect with other players online, such as by hosting a game and letting others join it. You must have an active in-game profile and a 3G, 4G or Wi-Fi Internet connection to play online.

Step 1

Launch "Call of Duty: Zombies" on your iPhone.

Step 2

Tap "Co-Op" on the main menu.

Step 3

Select "Online" in the Connection Type menu.

Step 4

Tap "Host Private" to host a game. Other players can then join your game by selecting "Join Private" and entering your "Call of Duty: Zombies" username.

Step 5

Tap "Begin" when you are ready to begin the game.
