How to Hook Up Curtis Surround Sound to a TV
By Stephen A. Powell
Curtis Home Theater setups provide surround sound to your living room or desired viewing area. While connecting the Curtis Home Theater surround sound speakers to a DVD is customary, you may also connect these to your television directly. Provided your television has RCA audio output ports, the Curtis Home Theater package comes complete with everything you need to get started.
Connect each of your speakers to the Curtis Home Theater console's audio output ports. Insert one end of each included RCA audio link cable into the color-coded RCA ports on each Curtis Home Theater speaker.
Insert the other end of each included RCA audio link cable into the color-coded RCA ports on the Curtis Home Theater console corresponding to each connected speaker.
Connect your TV to the Curtis Home Theater audio input ports. Insert one end of each RCA audio input into the color-coded RCA audio output port on the television.
Insert the other end of each RCA audio input port into the color-coded RCA audio input ports for each connected Curtis Home Theater speaker type. Your television audio will play in surround sound, as per the placement of your Curtis Home Theater speakers.
