How to Export Contacts From One Email Account to Another Yahoo Email Address
By Ken Burnside
Migrating between mail services can be tedious, especially when you're changing one email address to another. It could mean entering in all of your email contacts or asking everyone to email you at your new address, while hoping you don't miss anyone. Yahoo, Outlook and Gmail all allow you to export your existing email contacts to an intermediate file format called a Comma Separated Values file, which Yahoo Mail's Contacts Import tool can use.
Export Contacts From Outlook
Step 1
Click on the "File" tab and select "Options," then select "Advanced." A pane comes up.
Step 2
Click on the "Export" button.
Step 3
Select "Export to a File," then click "Next."
Step 4
Click on "Comma Separated Values" for the file type to be created.
Step 5
Select the folder of contacts you want to export, then click "Next." This brings up the "Save As" dialog box. Navigate to where you want to export the file, and type a name for the file.
Step 6
Click "OK," and then click "Next."
Step 7
Click "Finish."
