How to Enlarge a Movie Screen on the Computer
By Guy Gardner
There are a number of programs that can be used to watch DVDs or other video files on a computer. QuickTime Player, VLC Player and Windows Media Player are the most commonly used programs for watching video files. These programs all have the same options, but the control panels are organized differently from program to program. All programs open a window for watching a movie screen and all programs have options to control the size of the screen.
Open QuickTime Player. Click on "File" and move your cursor to "Open File." Select the movie you want to watch. A window will open for your movie. To enlarge the screen, click on "View" and select "Increase Size" to enlarge the movie screen, or click "Fit to Screen" to take up the entire screen except for the control panel. Click "Full Screen" to open the largest size movie screen.
Open VLC Player. Click "File" and move your cursor to "Open File." Select the movie you want to watch. A window will open for your movie. To enlarge the screen, click "Video" and select the screen you want from the list of normal size, half size, double size or "Fit to Screen." "Fit to Screen" still allows room for the control panel below the screen. Click "Full Screen" for the largest size movie screen.
Open Windows Media Player. Click "File" and move your cursor to "Open File." Select the movie you want to watch. Once the window for the movie opens, press keys "Ctrl"+"1" to enter full screen mode. Press the "Esc" key on the keyboard to go to large screen with panel.
