How to Find Email Aliases
By Missy J. Talbot
An email alias is another name under which someone has an email account. There are several ways to try to find out someone's email alias.
Look at a person's profile page on a social networking site, such as Facebook, Myspace or Twitter. Read what that person uses as an email address. She might use an email alias, especially if she uses another alias or account for work, family or friends.
Use an email finder to search for email addresses registered to a specific person. You may find that the person uses her real name on the account and only uses the alias on sent emails. This will enable you to see whether there are other email addresses listed for a person.
Use an email address finder in a specific program, such as AOL or Hotmail. These finders search for a person using a name, location or even nickname. You can try several options to see whether a person has another alias listed for an email account.
