How to Download Music Onto Virtual DJ

by Stephen A. Powell

Having a digital turntable utility allows you to liven up a party or expand your music recording and editing capabilities, as you do not need to depend on vinyl records for content. You can download music from your personal collection into Virtual DJ's turntables from the utility's browser pane. Simulating turntable effects with music in MP3 and other digital audio file formats gives new life to rare gems in your collection.

Step 1

Launch the [Virtual DJ](https://itstillworks.com/13579556/what-is-virtual-dj) application.

Step 2

Type the name of the song you wish to download into the utility in the "Search" field in the bottom center column. Doing so locates and displays the music in the search field below.

Drag and drop the displayed song onto either virtual turntable to download the music onto Virtual DJ.

Tips

  • You may use the browser in the left column to search for music instead of using the search field in Step 2. Using the browser allows your to search through folders on your computer's hard drive or that of a connected device.
