How to Download Large Files Using Anonymous Proxy Servers

by Diana Braun

Many Internet Service Providers (ISPs) have restrictions on how much data you are allowed to download from the Internet. When you download large amounts of data, you ware often contacted by the ISP with a warning of your activity. To get around data restrictions from your ISP, you can use an anonymous proxy server. The proxy hides your IP address, allowing you to surf the Web freely and download large files.

Step 1

Navigate to a Web proxy server, such as 5uproxy.info, passurl.net and broadsurf.info.

Step 2

Type the name of the website from which you want to download large files in the URL field located in the center of the page.

Click "Go."
