How to Download Free Christian Mp3s Music
By Andrew Smith
Nowadays, Christian music is far more than hymns and other traditional songs sung at church. There are plenty of artists who specialize in alternative, rock, pop and even hip-hop religious music. Depending on the size of your local music stores, you may not have an opportunity to purchase a lot of Christian music. You should consider downloading mp3s instead. Here are five places, with instructions particular to each site, where you can find plenty of free Christian mp3 files that can be downloaded legally to your computer.
At Bread Site (http://breadsite.org/#). place your cursor over the “Music” link on the top of the home page. In the drop box that appears, select “MP3 Music.” Scroll through all of the listed files. Click on a link to hear the mp3 file. Right click and select “Save link as” to download the song onto your computer.
Log onto the Christian MP Free website at http://christianmpfree.com/index.html. Just as it sounds, this site specializes in “Free and Legal” downloads of Christian music. Scroll to the very bottom of the page and click the “Music” link. Scroll through the listed mp3 files and click the red arrow to download the songs. You can also select the “More Music” link at the bottom of this page to find even more songs that can be downloaded for free.
Download free Christian mp3s from Audio Treasure (http://www.audiotreasure.com/mp3/Music/index.htm). Listed on the home page are several modern and traditional Christian songs. Right click on the folder icon in the “Download” column next to a song. Then, select “Save link as” to download the song to your computer.
Find free Christian music downloads on Soulkeeper Music (http://www.soulkeepermusic.com/freedownload.htm). Just as with Audio Treasure, Soulkeeper Music places links directly on the home page. Scroll through the songs and click on the “MP3” link next to a song to listen to the file. Right click and select “Save link as” to download the song.
Use 4 Praise (http://4praise.com/) to search for and find free Christian music. Click on the “Songs” tab to the left of the page. From there, you can choose to either look for songs by name or by category, such as “Most Popular” or “Top 100 Songs this month.” Once you find a song you wish to download, click on the name of the “Contributor” found to the right of the song title. On the next Web page, click on the “Song” link. On the song page, scroll down and right click on the link next to either “Hi-Fi MP3” or “Lo-fi MP3.” Select “Save file as” and your free download will begin.
