How to Download FLV With Chrome

The FLV (Flash Video) file format is used by websites such as YouTube to display videos. If you want to download FLV videos in Google Chrome, you must install the Flash Video Download extension. This extension allows you to download FLV video with just a couple of mouse clicks. You do not have to pay to install the Flash Video Download extension.

Step 1

Browse to the Flash Video Download page on the Chrome Extensions website.

Step 2

Click the "Add to Chrome" button. Click "Continue" and then click "Install" to install the Flash Video Download extension in your Chrome browser.

Step 3

Go to a Web page that has an FLV video.

Step 4

Click the Flash Video Download icon on the right side of the Google Chrome URL bar.

Click the "Download Video" option to download the FLV video. You can find the downloaded FLV video file in the "Downloads" folder on your Windows 7 user account.
