I Don't Want to Show How Many Friends I Have on Facebook

Your Facebook friends list can be a personal thing. Like many aspects of your profile, Facebook allows you to customize privacy options for your friends list so you can keep the number of friends you've accumulated on the social networking website private. Once you've adjust your privacy settings, friends visiting your page will only be able to see the friends you have in common rather than your complete friends list.

Step 1

Log in to Facebook, and click your name to open your profile.

Step 2

Click "Friends" to view your friends list.

Step 3

Click "Edit" to view a drop-down list of options.

Step 4

Click the "Audience Selector" button, and choose "Only Me."

Click "Close" to save the change.
