How do I Find Verizon Text Messaging Message History?

by Jamie Lisse

If you use your Verizon cell phone for text messaging, there may come a time when you want to review some of your older text messages. Your cell phone stores copies of both text messages that you send out and that you receive. As long as you have not deleted any of the text messages off the phone, you can view your text messaging message history on your Verizon cell phone.

1

Launch the menu on your Verizon cell phone. Typically you do this by pressing the “Menu” button. On newer Verizon phones, such as the Droid, there is no “Menu” button because there are icons on the screen, which means you can skip this step.

2

Go to “Messages” on your Verizon cell phone.

3

View the “Inbox” to see a history of the text messages that you have received. On some phones it may say “Received” instead of “Inbox.”

4

View the “Sent” messages box to see a history of the text messages that you have sent to others. On some phones it may say “Outbox” instead of “Sent.”
