How do I Install Dazzle DVD Recorder Without the Software?
By Greyson Ferguson
Dazzle is a hardware line from the Pinnacle video editing company, which is owned by the larger AVID company. The hardware is designed to help those looking to enhance and improve their video editing product. With a Dazzle DVD recorder, it is possible to burn videos directly from your Pinnacle editing suite, but you need the software. However, if you can't find the software installation CD, there is an alternative for placing the information onto the computer.
Step 1
Open the Internet browser and navigate to "Pinnaclesys.com." This is the AVID Pinnacle main page.
Step 2
Choose "Support," followed by "Downloads." Once in the "Downloads" section, choose "Studio and Dazzle Hardware Drivers."
Step 3
Scroll down until you reach the orange bars on the left side. Locate "Dazzle (DVD Recorder)."
Step 4
Click the download link specific for your operating system (Windows XP, Vista/7 32-bit or Vista/7 64-bit) and the information downloads to the computer.
Step 5
Double-click the downloaded file to load the installation wizard. Follow the short series of steps to completely install the software onto the computer system.
