Hotmail, often referred to as MSN Mail, allows users to check the junk mail received in their email account. The Junk folder stores all the messages that Hotmail has identified as spam (unsolicited emails sent to a large group). These messages often contain links to malicious websites intended to harm your computer. However, Hotmail sometimes accidentally classifies legitimate messages as hunk. If you are expecting an email from someone and do not see it in your Inbox, look for it in the Junk folder.

Step 1

Open your Web browser and go to

Step 2

Enter your Windows Live ID and password and click the "Sign In" button.

Step 3

Click the Hotmail link in the Windows Live navigation bar.

Click Junk under Folders in the left-hand column to check your junk mail.
