How to View DMs That I Sent on Twitter
By Andrea Ruiz
When you post on Twitter, every user that follows your Twitter account can see the message. Alternatively, direct messages on the site are private messages between two users that no other user can see. Twitter keeps all the DMs you send and receive organized by the user you're messaging. You can easily check these messages to view the DMs you've sent on Twitter.
Step 1
Log in to your Twitter account.
Step 2
Click the downward-pointing arrow next to the gear icon at the top of the page. A drop-down menu of settings options appears.
Step 3
Select "Direct messages" from the drop-down menu. A pop-up dialog appears, displaying a list of all the users with whom you've exchanged DMs.
Step 4
Click each user tab to view the conversation you've had with that particular user. You'll be able to see both your messages and the user's replies.

Tips
- You can differentiate the speakers in the DMs by looking at the profile photos assigned to each message. The ones you sent will have your profile photo next to them.
