How to Disable Parental Locks on the DISH Network
By Kefa Olang
Dish Network provides broadcast satellite service. It offers a world of television programming in both standard and high definition. Dish Network also includes Adult Guard, a parental controls software that allows you to set limitations on the type of content TV viewers in your home have access to. While it allows you to block adult channels, you can also disable it any time you want.
Press the "Menu" on your Dish Network box or remote control. Scroll down, select "Locks," and then press "Select."
Enter the 4-digit password you created when you initially configured the parental controls, highlight "OK," and then press "Select."
Select the "Unlock System" option and press "Select." The parental lock is disabled.
