How to Disable Net Nanny Without a Password (7 Steps)
By Ryan McAlister
If someone has put Net Nanny computer monitoring software onto your computer, there are ways that you can disable it, both permanently and temporarily, without a password. This will allow you to access any website, browse the Internet without a time limit and chat with privacy.
Disable Temporarily
Step 1
Type "Control," "Alt" and "Delete" on the keyboard at the same time. This will bring up the task manager window.
Step 2
Click on the "Processes" tab at the top.
Step 3
Click on "Wnldr32" and click "End Task" at the bottom of the screen. This will disable Net Nanny until the computer is restarted.
Disable Permanently
Step 1
Click on "Start," "Computer," "Local Disc (C:)" and "Windows."
Step 2
Double click the "System.ini" file.
Step 3
Locate the "[boot]" menu and a line that says "drivers=wndrv16.dll." Delete the "wndrv16.dll" and click "Save."
Step 4
Restart the computer.
