How to Determine When Norton Expires
By Alex Ramirez
Coming pre-installed on many machines and Windows operating systems, Norton Antivirus has become one of the most popular antivirus software on the market. For those with a free trial, the 60- and 90-day trials can expire quickly and leave your computer at risk until you renew your subscription. Norton offers a way for users to check the days remaining on the software.
Start your Norton Antivirus software. You can double-click on icon on your desktop or access the program from the "Start" menu.
Look for "Subscription Service," "Renewal Date," or "Days Remaining" in the software's product window, according to Symantec.com. If none of these options appear, look for "Subscription Status" on the left side of the window.
Look at your "Days Remaining" or the date listed under "Subscription Ends."
Tips
- If your subscription expiration date is different than what it should be, contact Symantec's support desk immediately.
