Deleting Email Addresses From Gmail on iPhone
By William Pullman
Business owners who use the Apple iPhone can receive email when away from a computer by connecting their email account to the phone. The iPhone supports email accounts from most platforms, including Gmail. You can delete Gmail accounts from the iPhone when you no longer want to receive updates. All of the data associated with the account is deleted from the phone when you remove the email address.
Tap "Settings" on the iPhone home screen and then select "Mail, Contacts, Calendars." A list of your email addresses appears under the Accounts section.
Touch the Gmail account you want to delete from the iPhone and then tap "Delete Account." A pop-up window appears with a message informing you that all of the data related to that email address is lost if you delete the account.
Tap "Delete Account" to confirm removing the Gmail address from the iPhone.
