How to Delete a Program That Keeps Popping Up

The Windows Control Panel keeps track of each program you install on the computer. When a program keeps popping up and you want to remove it, you use the Control Panel's uninstall wizard to delete it from your computer. This frees up some hard drive space. This is typically done if you no longer need the program and you want to clean up some hard drive space for other programs.

Click the Windows "Start" Orb and then click "Control Panel." In the open window, click "Programs" and then click "Programs and Features." This lists all programs on your computer.

Click the program you want to delete. On the top of the window, click the "Uninstall" button to start the removal wizard.

Click "Yes" in the confirmation window asking if you are sure you want to remove the software. The Windows removal wizard deletes the program. If you are asked to reboot, reboot your computer for the changes to take effect.
