How to Delete a Page Number in Word Perfect
By Mary Jo Megginson
Page numbers help you keep your printed documents in order, and also help a reader navigate through long documents. Sometimes you may want particular pages in your document to print without a page number, possibly because it is a title page or the orientation of a graphic on that page makes the page number look awkward. Corel's WordPerfect allows you to suppress one page number without disrupting the overall sequence of page numbers in your document.
Position your cursor somewhere on the page on which you want to remove the page number.
Click the "Format" menu at the top of the page.
Choose "Page" then "Suppress" from the drop-down menu.
Click to select "Page Numbering" in the Suppress Dialog Box, then click "OK."
