How to Delete Messages Off of TextFree
By Maya Walker
TextFree is an app for smartphones that allows you to send and receive text messages without the need for mobile service. As long as you have at least a Wi-Fi connection, you can connect with friends and family. Just like any normal messaging application on a mobile phone, you can delete messages when you need to. The messages that you delete are irretrievable. There are two available methods for removing messages from the app.
Launch the TextFree application and log into your account. Tap the "Recents" icon in the top menu. Review the list of messages that you have received.
Tap the message you want to delete to open it on the screen.
Tap "Clear," then "Clear Conversation" to remove the message.
Via Recent List
Tap the "Recents" icon to review the latest messages that you have received in TextFree.
Locate the text message that you want to delete.
Swipe the message from left to right. Tap "Delete" to remove the message.
