How to Delete All Message History on LG View
By William Pullman
The LG Vu mobile phone has communication options available separate from making and receiving phone calls. The text messaging feature allows users to send short, text based messages to other mobile phones. The Vu keeps a record of all the messages you receive and send saved to the phone's internal memory. To free up memory space or to prevent another user from viewing your messages, delete the message history on your phone.
Step 1
Touch the lower left corner of the LCD screen over the icon with four dots. This opens the main menu of your phone.
Step 2
Press "Messaging" to bring up a new menu. From this menu you can access the inbox, outbox and sent messaging options, which is where your messages are stored.
Step 3
Tap "Inbox" to bring up the inbox messaging options.
Step 4
Delete all of the messages in your inbox by tapping "Delete All" and confirm the deletion.
Step 5
Return to the "Messaging" menu by touching "Back" on the bottom of the screen.
Step 6
Repeat Steps 3-5 for "Outbox" and "Sent" to delete all of the messages saved on your LG Vu.
