How to Create a UPS Shipping Label

by Kristen Waters

UPS is a worldwide shipping company that offers one and two-day air shipping. The UPS website allows you to create shipping labels, pay for services and schedule pick ups for your package. This eliminates the need to take the package to a drop off location such as a drop box or UPS store. Labels can be printed on plain paper from any printer.

Log into your UPS account. If you don't have one, create one at the UPS website

Click on the "Shipping" tab at the top of the page.

Click on "Create a Shipment."

Enter the Destination Address in the first box.

Verify the Origination Address in the second box.

Enter the number of packages, package type and package value in the third box.

Select your shipping service in the fourth box.

Add reference numbers to the shipment, if you desire in the fifth box.

Enter the payment information in the sixth box.

Click "Next" to go on to the next page.

Verify the package details on the next page.

Print your label.
