How to Copy Photos From Facebook to a CD & Save Them

by Ashley Donohoe

Facebook lets you upload photos to your profile and also lets you view photos that your friends have uploaded. If you post a lot of pictures to Facebook, you may want to back them up in case you delete or lose access to your profile. In addition, you may want to save some pictures that your friends have on their sites. Although you can't save the pictures directly to a CD, you can save them to your computer and transfer them to the CD.

1

Right-click the Facebook photo that you want to save and copy to a CD. Select "Save Picture As" on the menu that appears and choose a name and location for the photo. Click "Save" to save the file.

2

Insert a blank CD into your computer's CD burner. Click "Burn Files to Disc" when Windows displays an AutoPlay box. Type a name for your CD and select "With a CD/DVD Player" as the format for your CD. Click "Next" to continue.

3

Drag the Facebook photos that you saved to the Window Explorer window for your CD. Select "Burn to Disc" on the toolbar's menu when finished and select a disc name and burning speed. Click "Next" to start the burning process.
