How to Convert a Scanned Document to Word
By Carter McBride
Microsoft Word does not have a scanning application, however, Microsoft Office does have a program called Microsoft Office Document Imaging that allows scanning and can bring the file into Microsoft Word. Once the file is in Microsoft Word, the user can modify the document as he pleases. This is very useful for document modification.
Click the Start menu, then select "All Programs," "Microsoft Office" and "Microsoft Office Tools," and then "Microsoft Office Document Imaging."
Click "Fil,e" then "Open." Find the scanned document. Click "Open."
Press "CTRL" and "A" at the same time.
Press "CTRL" and "C" at the same time.
Open Microsoft Word.
Press "CTRL" and "V" at the same time in Microsoft Word.
