How to Convert a PDF to a Docx

While converting a PDF to a Word document is not foolproof, utilities are available that will "read" your PDF and convert it to a file that can be read and edited in Microsoft Word. Though the exact formatting will not be replicated, you will get a point to start at and avoid retyping the entire PDF.

Locate the PDF file on your hard drive.

Navigate to PDF to Word online (see Resources link).

Click "Browse..." under Step 1, and locate your PDF file.

Click "Open" to select the file to convert.

Select ".DOC" under Step 2.

Enter your email address under Step 3, and click "Convert." The converted file will be emailed to you.
