How to Convert a PDF to a DBF
By David Harris
Using PDF files allows you to send them to other users and have them appear exactly how you formatted them. To open a PDF file, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. DBF files are used in databases and various programs such as dataBased Intelligence dBASE and Corel WordPerfect Office X5. It is possible to covert PDF files into DBF, but you must first install a program on your computer.
Step 1
Download ABC Amber PDF Converter, and install the program on your computer. It is free for the first month, and then you will need to register it if you want to continue using it.
Step 2
Click on the "ABC Amber PDF Converter" icon on your desktop after the program is installed to open it.
Step 3
Click on "Open," and select the PDF file you wish to convert.
Step 4
Select "DBF" as the file format you wish to save the file.
Step 5
Click on "Save As," and the file will be saved as a DBF file. You can convert all of the pages of the PDF or just select ones.
