Double-click on the downloaded file to launch the installer. Choose the "Free Video-to-DVD converter" utility and follow the on-screen prompts to install the software on your computer. Launch the utility once it is installed.
Click the first "Browse" button and select the AVI file that you want to convert. Click the second "Browse" button to set the destination folder where the converted file will be saved. Under the second browse button, you'll see a "Presets" selection. Make sure it shows "DVD NTSC" at the beginning of the line. This will give your converted file the best quality, though you can select a lower quality if you wish.
