How to Connect a Second Monitor to a Lenovo C Series

by Ruri Ranbe

Unlike most desktop units, the Lenovo C Series computers do not include a separate tower to which you connect the mouse, keyboard, monitor and other peripherals. Instead, all of the critical components are stored inside of the display. Therefore, you must connect a second monitor to the existing display.

Connect Another Monitor

On the back of the computer is a high-definition multimedia interface connector that allows you to connect an HD display to the computer. The HDMI connector is located on the far right of the unit, next to the USB ports. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to your PC and the other end to the appropriate port on the secondary monitor. Note that only certain Lenovo C Series models feature this HDMI connector; if you do not see one, you cannot connect an external monitor to the computer.
