How to Connect a Samsung Digital Camera to a Computer With a Connection Cable
By Joshua Benjamin
Samsung cameras come in a variety of shapes, sizes and connection types. Some Samsung cameras have their own USB connector built into the camera for downloading pictures onto a computer's hard drive, while others require a USB connector cable to connect to a computer. You may need to install a driver for your camera so the computer will recognize it.
Step 1
Insert your driver install disc into your computer's CD drive and select "Install" when the auto-run dialog box pops up.
Step 2
Click through the menu screens until the automatic install process starts up. Wait for the process to finish.
Step 3
Plug the USB cable into a free USB port on your computer.
Step 4
Plug the other end of the USB cable into the mini-USB port on your camera. It may be concealed under a movable tab on the side or underside of the camera. Your computer should automatically detect the camera once it is plugged in.
