How to Connect PC to Panasonic Viera

Viera televisions from Panasonic feature plasma and LED screens with multiple connection types. You can display content from a PC on your Viera rather than using a standard computer monitor. This allows you to stream video from your computer without sacrificing screen size. To connect your PC to the Viera, you must have an HDMI connection. HDMI cables carry both audio and video from one device to the other.
Step 1
Place your PC close enough to the Panasonic Viera that the HDMI cable can easily reach to both devices.
Step 2
Turn off the television by pressing the "Power" button.
Step 3
Plug the HDMI cable into an open HDMI port on your PC.
Step 4
Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into the television. Depending on the model of Viera you have, the HDMI port may be on the side or back of the unit.
Tips
- If you don't have an HDMI port on your computer, you can use a VGA-to-HDMI adapter to make the connection.
- Some Panasonic Viera models have one HDMI slot; others have three.
