How to Connect the Latitude D630 to a TV

The Dell Latitude D630 laptop features an Intel Core Duo processor, a genuine Windows operating system and a built-in Wi-Fi antenna. The D630 also comes standard with a VGA port that allows your to transmit video from your laptop to a TV that features VGA compatibility. VGA connections deliver a high-quality video signal and the necessary is inexpensive compared to other connection methods.

Turn the power off on your TV.

Locate the Input panel on the rear of the TV and find the VGA Input port.

The screws on the side of the cable ensure that the cable remains securely inserted into the port.

Insert one end of the VGA cable into the port on the side of the D630 and secure the two screws on the end of the cable.

Plug the other end into the "VGA Input" port on your TV and screw down the pins.

Turn on your TV. Press the "Input Select" or "TV/Video" button on your TV until the VGA input is selected and the image from the laptop screen appears on your TV.
