How to Clean Laptop Screens With Vinegar
By Ezekiel James
It's easy to get grime and grease on a laptop screen. It's not so easy to get it off of your screen. There are a lot of methods that work, but maybe they are not as affordable or accessible as you would like. Many cleaning solutions will actually cause damage to your screen. Vinegar is one household item that works well to clean and protect your screen from grease and dirt spots. Additionally, it doesn't do any damage to your laptop's LCD screen.
Turn off your laptop, and disconnect the power cable from the nearest electrical outlet.
Pour one cup of distilled water and one cup of white vinegar into a spray bottle. Screw on the lid tightly, and then shake it for 5 to 10 seconds to mix.
Spray the mixture onto a clean white cloth. Do not spray the mixture directly onto your LCD screen.
Start at the top left-hand corner, and very gently, wipe horizontally from left to right until you have worked your way all the way to the bottom of the LCD screen.
Allow 10 to 15 minutes for the mixture to dry before you turn on your laptop.
