Verizon is a telecommunications company with a wide variety of services available to its customers, including high-speed Internet, cell phone and TV service and home phone service. With so much technology at its disposal, Verizon is able to offer home phone customers features such as the ability to check voice mail from any Internet-connected computer. The feature is called Verizon Call Assistant; you have to create a residential online account to access it.

Step 1

Point your Web browser to the "My Verizon" registration page. Follow the onscreen instructions to register, which includes creating a username and password. To complete registration, you must have your account number and the last amount paid on your Verizon bill or your last bill amount.

Step 2

Navigate to the "Verizon Call Assistant" login page and enter your username and password. Click "I authorize Verizon to access my account records" and click "Submit."

Step 3

Click "Calls and Messages" from the left-hand navigation menu. This loads new data in the main window, dividing your list of calls and voice mail in two tabs.

Step 4

Click the "Voice Mails" tab to see a list of voice mail.

Step 5

Click on the "Play" button to listen to the corresponding message in that row.
