How to Check Verizon Prepaid Voicemail From a House Phone

by Matt McGew

Verizon Wireless Prepaid service features a digital voice messaging system that allows callers to leave you a voice message when you do not answer your Verizon Wireless phone. You can access your voice mail messages directly from your Verizon Wireless phone or from a house phone. Accessing your voice mail from a house phone allows you to check your messages without using any of your Verizon Wireless prepaid minutes.

Dial your 10-digit Verizon Wireless Prepaid phone number from your house phone.

Wait for your personalized greeting to start and press the "#" key on your house phone's keypad.

Enter your password and press the "#" key. The voice mail system will automatically begin the playback of your messages.

Press "7" on your house phone's keypad to delete a message after playback. Press "9" on your house phone's keypad to save the message.
