How to Change Xbox 360 Display Settings
By Michael Butler
Microsoft designed the Xbox 360 to work with a wide variety of TVs. The display settings that look the best on one TV will not necessarily be the best on another. For example, on a high-definition TV, you should use a 16:9 aspect ratio. However, on a non-HD TV you would want to use a 4:3 aspect ratio. You can also change other display settings, like resolution and coloring.
Step 1
Press the "Start" button to go to the Xbox 360 menu. Use the analog stick to navigate to the "My Xbox" panel.
Step 2
Scroll to "System Settings," and then press the "A" button.
Step 3
Highlight "Console Settings." Press the "A" button.
Step 4
Scroll to "Display" and press "A" again. Change the display settings to make them appropriate for your TV.
