How to Change PDF to PowerPoint

by Candace Weselowski

Converting a PowerPoint document to a PDF format decreases the size of the file and allows for easier transfer through email.

1

Check to see if your computer has Adobe Acrobat and PDF software. If it doesn't, you can get the software online from the Adobe website.

2

Save your file as a PowerPoint document. Next, if you are using PowerPoint 2003 or earlier, click "File," then "Print."

3

Click the printer drop down menu. Select "Adobe PDF." Click "ok." You will be asked for a location to save your document and to name it. Hit "save." If using PowerPoint 2007, click "File," "Save as" and then name your document and hit save. The software will take over and convert the file.
