How to Change the Order of Your YouTube Playlist
By Laurel Storm
Whether you favor adorable kittens or heavy metal songs, saving your favorite YouTube videos to a custom playlist gives you a way to watch all of them in a row without needing to search for each of them. By default, YouTube playlists show videos in the order you added them with the videos you added first at the top and the most recently added ones at the bottom. If this doesn't work for you, you can rearrange the videos in the playlist to the order you prefer.
Step 1
Sign in to your YouTube account, if you haven't already. On the main YouTube page, click "Playlists."
Step 2
Click the name of the playlist you want to rearrange. If your playlists are displayed as a list instead of as a grid, click the "View Full Playlist" link corresponding to the playlist you want to rearrange.
Step 3
Click "Edit Playlist."
Step 4
Hover over videos in the list to activate the handle on the left of the video. Click the handle and drag the video up or down the list to change its position.
Step 5
Click "Done" to save the rearranged playlist.
