How to Change a Computer's Language From French to English
By Jim Campbell
The Microsoft Windows operating system comes with several options, and one of those options is setting the operating system's language. Changing the language switches all dialog box statements from one language to the chosen language. This is accomplished in the Windows configuration system settings. You can change Windows to display most common languages including a change from French to English.
Click the Windows "Start" Orb in the task bar. In the pop-up menu, click "Control Panel." This opens a new window.
Click "Clock, Language, and Region" in the Control Panel. Click "Regional and Language Options" to open a new configuration window.
Click the "Keyboards and Languages" tab. In the drop-down box, select "English" as the display language. Click "OK" to save your changes.
