Can You Kick People Out of Your Facebook Group?
By Kefa Olang
If you created a Facebook group, you are automatically listed as the group's administrator, which means you can remove people from the group anytime you want. If someone constantly defies group rules and regulations, such as posting content that doesn't resonate with the group's motive, kicking that person out of the group may be necessary. When you remove people from a group, you can also ban them completely if you don't want them to come across the group again.
Step 1
Open your Facebook group and click the "About" tab to view group members. Click the drop-down button next to the "Find a Member" box and click "All Members" to view all group members.
Step 2
Scroll through the list and click the gear menu located below the member to remove. Click the "Remove from Group" link from the pop-up menu that opens.
Step 3
Click the "Ban Permanently" check box in the Remove confirmation box if you want to ban the member from the group. If you ban a member from a group, he will not be able find it in a search, or on his news feed. If you don't ban a member, she can request to join the group again if she desires to. Click the "Confirm" button to kick the member out.
