How to Bypass Safe Search
By Kayla Lowe
Many search engines offer a safe search filter, which simply means that explicit search results like websites containing sexual content are filtered from appearing in your search results. Most search engines have the safe search feature turned on by default. You might not want the safe search filter on, though, and if you don't you can bypass safe search by simply adjusting your advanced search preferences.
Navigate to the search engine for which you want to bypass safe search.
Click on the "Advanced Search" link.
Locate the section that says "Safe Search." Click the "Off" or "Do not filter" bubble to bypass safe search.

Tips
- Some search engines feature a "Preferences" link rather than an "Advanced Search" one.
Warnings
- Turning safe search off means that explicit websites might be included in your search results. This option is not ideal for children's computers.
