How to Burn a Playlist to a CD
By Ashton Daigle
Take your favorite playlist and burn it to a CD so you can play it in your car or any CD player. Playlists are a fun way to make parties more festive or create the mood for special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries. Creating a CD makes a nice gift for friends or family to commemorate special events like family or school reunions.
Step 1
Double-click on iTunes on your computer to open the music software.
Step 2
Select the playlist from the left-hand column of iTunes that you want to burn to disk. Make sure you have the songs in the order you want to listen to, as they will be on the disk in the same order.
Step 3
Click on "Burn CD". It is located at the bottom, right -hand side of the iTunes screen. You can also choose "File" from the main menu, and then select "Burn Playlist to disc" from the drop-down menu.
Step 4
Insert a blank disc in your CD drive. iTunes will now copy your songs onto the disc. When finished, test your CD in a CD player to make sure it works.

Tips
- CD's only hold between 650-700MB of music. Make sure your playlist does not exceed this amount or you will have to remove some of the songs and put them on a second CD.
Warnings
- Do not run other programs while the burning process takes place, this can lead to failed disks.
