By Jason Candanedo
Microsoft Word is a word processing program from Microsoft. Documents generated from Microsoft Word are referred to as "Word" documents. These "Word" files can be placed on a CD disc, in the process known as "burning." CD discs' large capacity make them ideal for storage.
Step 1
Insert a blank CD-RW disc into the CD burning drive of your computer.
Step 2
Click on the "Start" button located on your desktop, and click on the "My Computer" icon.
Step 3
Find the Microsoft Word document and click once on it to select and highlight the file.
Step 4
Click "Copy this File" in the "File and Folder Tasks" category section.
Step 5
Click on your CD burning drive that is displayed in the dialog box.
Step 6
Create and type a title for the CD in the "Burn a Disc" window. Click on the "Next" button. The burning process will begin. Your Microsoft Word document will be burned
