How to Get Bluetooth Motorola H720 in Pairing Mode
By Shawn McClain
When you place your Motorola H720 Bluetooth headset into pairing mode, it allows you to establish a connection between the headset and another Bluetooth device, like a mobile phone or computer. Once you go through the pairing process, your headset will remember the devices you have paired it with and will automatically connect to the first paired device it comes across. The H720 will automatically enter pairing mode when you turn it on, as long as you have met a few other conditions.
Plug the Motorola H720's charger into an electrical outlet; then plug the smaller end into the port on the headset's rear end. Let the headset charge up for at least 20 minutes before removing the charger, as the headset will need at least that much of a charge to stay in pairing mode.
Push down on the H720's boom mic to flip it closed, if it is open. The mic will collapse against the rest of the headset. This process will turn the headset off.
Turn off any nearby device that the H720 has ever been paired with. If the headset discovers a device in the area that is has a connection with, it will not be able to go into pairing mode.
Flip the H720's boom mic open. Wait a few seconds for the H720's indicator light to turn a steady blue. When the light is blue, your H720 is now in pairing mode.
