Many schools enable web proxy blockers to protect their servers. Web proxy blockers are beneficial for large organizations to ensure improper websites are not viewed and viruses are not downloaded onto the server. Proxies are also beneficial in limiting web browsing and increasing productivity. Proxies can be anonymously unblocked using an unblocking proxy website.

Step 1

Open your Internet browser and allow the homepage to load. Disable the pop-up blocker function within your Internet browser. Refer to the Help menu of your browser for instructions if you are unsure of how to do so.

Step 2

Type “ “ into your web address bar.

Type the web address that is blocked and hit “Surf.” This allows you to view the blocked website privately. Use this website to view any blocked websites.
