When you set up an AT&T account, you’ll have the option of creating a new AT&T webmail address. AT&T’s webmail service is supported by Yahoo, and is a convenient feature for users without an alternate email address. However, if you already have a Gmail account and you’d prefer your AT&T communications go there, you can tell the AT&T webmail account to forward all of your messages.

Step 1

Log in to your AT&T webmail account from a browser.

Step 2

Click the “POP & Forwarding” tab.”

Step 3

Enter your Gmail address in the “Forward mail to the following address” box.

Step 4

Click “Save Changes.” A “Verify Email Address” box will appear; click “Send Code.”

Step 5

Check your Gmail account for the verification code. Enter this code in the “Verify Email Address” box back on the AT&T “POP & Forwarding” page.

Step 6

Click “Done” to verify, and then click “Save Changes” to make sure everything is correctly applied.
