How to Adjust Your Color & Sharpness on a Dell Monitor (6 Steps)
By Alex Zang
Your Dell monitor features menu buttons on the front of it that allow you to adjust it to your personal preference. If you think an image is too soft or too sharp, you can change the sharpness. If you think the colors are off, you can alter the saturation of each color until you get the result you want. Note that you may have to try several variations before you get the exact results you desire.
Step 1
Press the "Menu" button on your monitor. A menu will appear on your monitor.
Step 2
Select "Display Settings" by pressing the "+" button to scroll through the menu. Press "Menu" once "Display Settings" is highlighted.
Step 3
Select "Sharpness." Press the "+" button to increase the sharpness and the "-" button to decrease the sharpness.
Step 4
Press "Menu" to bring up the menu again. This time, select "Color Settings."
Step 5
Select "PC Custom Color."
Step 6
Change the red, green and blue amounts of color by pressing the "+" and "-" key until your ideal result is obtained.
