How to Adjust the Bass on an iPod Touch

With the iPod Touch, not only can you control the volume of music playback, but you can also adjust your sound settings to alter the tonal qualities of your music. Use the application's built-in equalizer to adjust the bass on an iPod Touch. The equalizer features various audio presets to better improve your listening experience. Use the bass presets to adjust bass quality of your iPod's music.

Step 1

Tap the "Settings" icon on your Home page to open the menu.

Step 2

Select the "Music" tab. The Music preferences screen opens.

Step 3

Select the "EQ" button. The EQ page loads displaying a list of options.

Step 4

Tap the "Bass Booster" option to increase bass on your iPod Touch.

Step 5

Tap the "Bass Reducer" to decrease the bass on your iPod Touch.

Tap the "Music" back arrow at the top-left of the page to return to the main Music preferences screen.
