UTorrent is a popular alternate way of downloading large files and programs, but it's also usually blocked by Kaspersky's firewall system. This means that if you try to access uTorrent behind the Kaspersky firewall, you will not be able to download or upload anything using the BitTorrent network. To make uTorrent work on your PC, make sure it's listed as one of the "trusted" applications installed on your computer.

Step 1

Run uTorrent, and then open the Kaspersky interface on your PC.

Step 2

Click on the "Settings" tab on the Kaspersky program, and then click "Protection."

Step 3

Click "Threats and Exclusions" in the left pane.

Step 4

Click the "Settings..." button in the Exclusions section of the Kaspersky window.

Step 5

Click the "Trusted applications" tab that appears, and then click "Add."

Step 6

Click "Applications" in the drop-down menu to access the list of programs currently running.

Step 7

Click on the "uTorrent" icon in the list that appears.

Step 8

Click "OK" in the "Exclusions for application," "Trusted Zone" and "Settings" windows.
