How to Add Photos to an iPad

by KR Knowlin

ITunes provides a way for you to upload photos and other media on your computer to your iPad device. After you set up your iPad's photo sync options, iTunes will transfer selected picture folders and albums to the iPad whenever you connect the device to your PC. This will allow you to keep the same photos on your computer and iPad. You can adjust your photo sync preferences in the "Photos" pane of iTunes.

Open iTunes on your PC. Connect the iPad to the computer with the Apple dock cable.

Select the iPad under the "Devices" section in the iTunes left panel. Then select the "Photos" tab.

Select the "Sync Photos From" check box at the top of the page that loads to the screen.

Click the drop-down arrow of the "Sync Photos From" field. Select the folder containing photos you want to add. If the folder contains sub-folders, select the "Selected Albums, Events, and Faces" option. Then specify which folders you wan to add in the section below.

Click the "Sync" button to add the photos to your iPad.
